Graham Potter was clearly delighted with what he saw from Mykhailo Mudryk as he made his Chelsea debut in the goalless draw with Liverpool at the weekend.
"Yes, he was really good," Potter replied when asked if he was happy with what he saw from the Ukrainian. "He's only been with us a couple of days and he'll get better the more he is with us and the more we understand him and the more he understands us. But promising signs."
Mudryk came into the side after just a couple of training sessions with his new Chelsea teammates at Cobham. The 22-year-old had only put pen-to-paper on a long-term contract the weekend before after the Blues swooped in ahead of London rivals Arsenal at the last minute.
