Chelsea decision as Blues looking to agree £250k-a-week deal with Brazilian

Chelsea is looking to offer Brazilian defender Thiago Silva a new deal to keep him at the club a little longer.
After deciding to leave PSG just a couple of seasons ago – Thiago Silva made the big decision to pack his bags and come to the Premier League – in a move that would give him a real test at this stage of his career.
But despite all the media reports that he was too old for us – the Brazilian has proven that he just gets better with age and has been brilliant since his move to London.
And according to The Times, the club are ready to open talks with the Brazilian about extending his stay at Stamford Bridge.
The reports claim the Blues want to tie him down to a contract to keep him in London for another year. The report states that both Silva and Chelsea are satisfied with the idea of a contract extension.

Thiago Silva really is one of the best central defenders in the game and has been brilliant for us ever since his move from PSG – He fully deserves that new contract.
He does not have many more years at the top of the game – but the club are making sure they get the best out of Silva before letting him go to the MLS – Saudi Arabia or China for that final big pay day.
