Chelsea given green light to sign 21-year-old French midfielder

Chelsea director Christopher Vivell has urged the London giants to add Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Manu Kone at the end of the campaign. U21 France international joined the Bundesliga giants back in 2021, and the pl

ayer has established himself as a crucial figure for them.

Manu has the potential to develop into a top-class player, and he could prove to be a quality long-term investment for the Blues. Chelsea are in desperate need of midfield reinforcements, and they have been linked with several footballers in recent months.

One of those names is that of the West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice. The English midfielder is a top target for Chelsea. And it will be interesting to see if the London giants can secure his services in the coming months.

Rice is expected to leave West Ham at the end of the campaign, and he wants to join a club playing in the Champions League. The London giants might have to shatter their transfer record to sign the Englishman, who is one of the best defensive midfielders in the league.

The French midfielder could be tempted to move to the PL, and the chance to join a club like Chelsea will be a lucrative option for him. Graham Potter has done well to help youngsters develop under his management, and he could help the Frenchman fulfill his potential as well.
