Chelsea could complete the singing of Brighton & Hove Albion about the possibility of adding midfielder Moisés Caicedo to Graham Potter’s squad at Stamford Bridge this week,
The Blues are looking for midfield reinforcements with both Jorginho and N’Golo Kanté out of contract at the end of the season.

Chelsea transfer news – Moisés Caicedo
According to CBS reporter Ben Jacobs, Chelsea are actively exploring the possibility of signing Caicedo, although Brighton claim that they have still received no offers for the services of the central midfielder.
The same journalist has hinted that the Seagulls would now expect a fee of £75m+ to tempt them into a January sale of the 28-cap Ecuador international.
The Athletic has claimed that Liverpool are also admirers of Caicedo, but his price tag means that a move for the 21-year-old from the Reds is unlikely this month.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has recently told GiveMeSport that the Brighton star is currently on Chelsea’s list as the Blues head coach looks to a reunion with his former player, whom he managed during his time at the Amex Stadium.
And Jones believes that an initial approach from the two-time European champions could happen as early as this week.
What has Jones said about Chelsea and Caicedo?
When speaking about Chelsea’s potential transfer business, Jones told GiveMeSport: “I’d say the one to look out for in the next week is Caicedo. I think there’s a pretty strong possibility that by the back end of the week, they’ve probably made an initial approach about the terms he might be available on.”
