Agent reveals if £100M Frenchman will join Chelsea this January

 Eduardo Camavinga’s agent Joshua Barnett has responded to the reports that Chelsea could be signing the midfielder this January.



Camavinga is regarded as one of the finest talents in world football – and a player that is tipped to develop into one of the very best in the game – but he has really struggled this season at Madrid and has only started five laLiga matches this term.




And The Evening Standard claimed that the Blues were interested in signing the young midfielder this month due to his lack of game-time in the Spanish capital – as Graham Potter is a massive fan.


However – amid all the speculation – Barnett has come out and responded to the links – claiming that Camavinga will not be leaving Madrid this transfer window – Barnett said: “There’s no truth.


“Of course every club in the world would want him, but he’s very happy in Real Madrid and Real Madrid are very happy with Camavinga.”


Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti insists he has “complete confidence” in the Arsenal target – Ancelotti has said: “I really believe in him.


“Admittedly, I’ve taken him off a number of times at the end of the first half and I haven’t always been fair to him in this respect.


“But I have complete confidence in him.”

From what we have seen from Camavinga for Madrid and for France – je should not be sitting on the bench – the lad is too good for that.


It has been a shock to see his game time this season – but he will not be joining Chelsea .


So, unless something sensational happens – this is just a rumour – and one that will not go any further – at least for the next few seasons..
